American Airlines announces seasonal service between Miami and the British Virgin Islands launches on June 1, 2023.

This summer American Airlines is launching more Caribbean flights from its Miami hub with new service to Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport (EIS) in the British Virgin Islands.

Options to travel to BVI:

1. Travel to St. Thomas, USVI (airport code: STT) and take ferry services from St. Thomas to Tortola.

Book your flights to arrive in STT by 2pm in order to take the latest ferry from St. Thomas to Tortola which usually departs between 4pm and 5pm.

On your return flight, please book to depart St. Thomas in the afternoon which will give you time to travel from Tortola back to St. Thomas, USVI.

Visitors flying into Cyril E. King Airport on St. Thomas, USVI, can take the ferry between St. Thomas and Tortola and Virgin Gorda. Ferry services can be accessed by taking a taxi from St. Thomas airport to the ferry terminal. Airport transfers will be provided for Summer Sizzle BVI VIP guests who purchased our travel packages including hotel accommodations and events. A Summer Sizzle BVI concierge/rep will greet guests who have purchased packages upon arrival in St. Thomas.

2. Travel via San Juan, PR to Beef Island, Tortola, British Virgin Islands (airport code: EIS)

Fly to San Juan and take a connecting flight to Tortola with Cape Air, Seaborne Airlines, Inter Caribbean, Liat.
